Dog Training Tips

Introduction to the way I am teaching how to teach the dogs.

Training dogs is a very hard thing to do. One of the reasons for this, is the fact that dog's think in a way which most people find strange and hard to understand.
For example, John is walking his dog on the park without a leech, his dog see's something of interest and starts running after it while the owner calls for him. He then passes through the road and nearly gets ran over. John with freight calls him louder and the dog comes back. The owner is now scared and hits the dog on his backside so he doesn't do this again.
Why is this wrong? Because if the dog does the same thing a next time he will think again about going back to John since he knows he is going to get hit, in the other hand if John had patted him he would instantly come back to receive a pat.
This is one of the most common mistakes however it is completely normal to do it and this way of thinking will be repeated (in different occasions) throughout the teaching of dog training. Another very important statement is that; no one can teach a dog without a) patients b) consistency and c) remembering the steps.
